Arizona Coffee

Hey Arizona Coffee folks,

Just dropping by to let everyone know that we’ve started planning the upcoming year’s regional barista competition calendar, and we’re looking for a host for the 2008-2009 South West Regional Barista Competition.

Last year’s hosts at the tradeshow in Las Vegas were great to work with and wanted to host again, but that particular show happens the same week as the US Barista Championship (March 5-8, 2008 in Portland, OR), so that’s not gonna work. sad

So hopefully avoiding the miscommunications from last year, we definitely wanted to reach out to the AZ Coffee forum folks to start talking about putting together a GREAT Southwest Regional.

We’re looking for a company (or a group) to host the competition. Check out the SCAA website’s Regional Competition section for hosting criteria, the application, and other information. Feel free to contact Michelle Campbell at the SCAA (her info’s on that website) or myself (nick@murkyXcoffee.com <--remove the X) for more info, or to help put us in touch with companies in the region who might be interested in hosting.
