Two people emailed me today to let me know about a new coffee shop in Miami, AZ.

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a great coffee shop in Miami now called Creekside Coffee & More! It is located behind the old bank, which is now a bookstore. Its a great place to sit and read. The Sophies Mojo is the best drink I’ve had in a while.

We have introduced a cozy coffee shop, with wireless internet service available, adjacent to our bookstore in the historic mining town of Miami, AZ. We are open 7 days a week from 9-5. We serve a wide range of specialty coffee drinks made with fresh-roasted beans provided by Echo Espresso of Phoenix. Please come visit us!

There used to be a really cool wine bar in that location owned by the same people who own the clothing store next to Lux.
I’ll have to stop by next time I visit my family up there, I’ll be keen to see what it’s like

So thats what that is. I will definetly have to try it out when I head out towards to the valley. Looking forward to it.

YES - there was a nice little wine bar just a few doors east of us, right on HWY 60, for a short time. Not sure what happened to those folks. Someone is close to re-opening that bar, calling it The Concentrater - to capitalize on the history of mining in Miami. Our building was a bank, built in 1918 by Gila Valley Bank & Trust - hence The Book Bank. Our bookstore has been open for 6 years and we added the coffee shop just a couple of months ago.

Ah okay. I figured that was where you were going into. I drove up there on saturday, but didn’t have a chance to drop in. Are you doing espresso drinks or just drip coffee?
MARLENE says:
YES - we have a full coffee bar menu, including all the standard espresso-based drinks - & more!
