Romancing the Bean shuts down location in Scottsdale Pavilions

I received an email from George this morning letting me know that Romancing the Bean closed their store at 101 and Indian Bend in Scottsdale. I’m sorry to hear this, as it was one of the nicer places to go and get some coffee in that area.
This news comes about 11 months after Romancing the Bean opened its Tempe location. I called that location to verify and nobody picked up. The phone number for the Scottsdale location (a different number) has been disconnected.

As the owner of Romancing the Bean, I want to let you know we are alive and very well. We did close our Scottsdale location last year. We have been in the Smith Barney Building on Tempe Townlake (ground floor). It’s a wonderful location and we are very excited about the entire Hayden Ferry Lakeside project. We are only open Mon - Fri 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for the time being. We will be opening on weekends again eventually. We are so fortunate to have our wonderful loyal customers of 16 years in Scottsdale follow us to Tempe. Please be sure to stop in and see us. Our new phone # is 480-921-4077. Address is 80 E.
