Coffee Bean: Opens New Location at Shea Blvd & Tatum Blvd

I noticed a new Coffee Bean on my way to work this morning. Right next to where the old Market Street Coffee was, on the north west corner of Shea Blvd & Tatum Blvd. That will give Starbucks some good competition.

It seems there are Coffee Beans sprouting up all over! They just opened one on Cave Creek & the 101 and will soon open stores at Gilbert & Stapley, 99th Ave. & Northern, Central & Camelback, Rio Salado & the 202, and Ray & the 101 according to a Coffee Bean barista I talked to. I’m not a huge fan of their espresso drinks, but their blended drinks are by far the best.

I just received a postcard for the announcing the Coffee Bean on Tatum and Shea - no phone number - no listing of hours. Boy did they waste their money on this form of advertising.
