Coca Cola BlaK

Coca Cola BlaK will be released on April 3rd. If you read only the description it sounds like a perfume. A blend of classic Coke and coffee “essence.” What in the world is “essence?”
The description goes on to say that it includes carbonated water. I’d rather have a hot latte or iced coffee.
Speaking of drinks like this. Has anyone tried the new Starbucks Iced Coffee drink? I just can’t see myself buying that. I’m sorry. Knowing it was brewed weeks ago doesn’t really help. Plus I like ice on my iced coffee.

My wife and I tried Coke Blak over the weekend. She couldn’t taste the coffee flavor whilest I tasted something similar to generic “coffee” or “mocha” ice cream combined with Coca-Cola. Would I buy it again? Not likely.
As for the Starbucks Iced Coffee drink, I have had the DoubleShot Lite, and it tastes very similar to DoubleShot. For the drive on I-5 (which has very few places to stop for coffee) it’ll work when I need something stronger than soda.

Where can I find Coke Blak? I just want to give it a try but it doesn’t seem to have made it into my area.

Michelle, I haven’t seen it myself. A lot of people are telling me that you can find it at grocery stores, convenience stores, etc. Maybe call around?

So i know its much later on this post but why not. I tried blak today. Which my wife refers to as Coke Blech. And its not that great.
Our coffee shop started with supplies from a place in payson that we bought out and they had a collection of Monin Espresso flavoured syrups. (I dont know why) but it tastes really similar to an espresso syrup italian soda. Which isn’t very good btw.
