Bunna Coffee opening this weekend?

June 14, 2006 Posted by Chris Tingom Filed under Coffee

I spoke with the owner of Bunna Coffee this week and I understand they have plans to open up this weekend (pending inspections planned for this week).

Bunna Coffee is in Tempe on Dunlap and Rural Rd. It looks pretty neat. I snapped the photo below and scanned the info card they had outside.

I visited this new shop on Monday. It’s got a great independent feel inside. It is run and owned the old managers of the Extreme Bean in tempe, Amanda and Anthony. This neighborhood was missing a good coffee shop. All their coffee and tea are fair trade and organic which was cool too.

Wow, what a great shop. Has a wonderful selection of everything to choose from. I love that place. My boyfriend and I stop by every morning on our carpool to work.

Visited Bunna Coffee on Labor Day in the afternoon. Not many customers, but that could be because of the holiday. However, I was impressed with the staff, and the atmosphere. Nice selection of small & medium tables/chairs, and a couple sofas, which is really nice! A sofa is always better than a table and chair, in my opinion. I will be coming back to Bunna!

Bunna Coffee is located on the NW corner of Elliott and Rural in Tempe. Not Dunlap and Rural as the original article mentions. Dunlap is far from Tempe.
